This page includes a local version of the single script used to bootstrap the webcomposekey bookmarklet. This will only work if you have installed webcomposekey locally. Other than that, you should be able to enter compose sequences without having to add a bookmarklet.
Just press Ctrl-Alt-c and enjoy.
